This is pretty good – an infographic of what Australian Aid does and how it compares from GoodAidWorks.com.au . Room for improvement in our efforts though.

Incidentally I got to see some of this in action about a year ago up in Papua New Guinea where my father and I were doing some volunteer work at Tinsley District Hospital, which had a vaccination centre funded by AusAid.

Incidentally also: Tony Abbott’s mob had a discussion paper talking of cutting $800m out of overseas aid to fund Gina Rinehart’s great Northern tax scam for foreign mining companies.

Amazing amount of good – but still a lot more to do.
